of different fruits and varieties. Our procurement
team is based in the UK and overseas, and has a
fantastic track record for identifying new lines of
supply and developing new market opportunities.
Throughout our long history we have thrived on
the passion and entrepreneurial spirit that Josiah
Sims instilled in the business. It was with us when
we opened our auction rooms in London’s Borough
Market in the 1930’s, it was with us again in the
1960’s when we were the first to bring fresh
Cranberries to the UK and again in the 1990’s when
we created the market for Indian Grapes and were
the first to introduce Canadian Wild Blueberries.
Today we are the UK’s leading supplier of fresh
Cherries and we continue to open up new trade
routes, introduce exciting new fruits, and maintain
our position as an innovative and reliable source
for the highest quality fresh fruit. |
